Our journey also takes us to Tiger reserves.

routes toward the serene beauty of Tamil Nadu. Explore the stunning tea plantations
of Munnar.



Next, Thekkady welcomes you with its spice-scented air and
abundant wildlife. Explore its famous sanctuaries and spice plantations before
heading to the stunning coastal town of Varkala. Here, the golden sands and
azure waters of the Arabian Sea create a picturesque retreat for every rider.



Cruise through the serene backwaters of Alleppey, famously
known as the "Venice of the East." Marvel at its network of lagoons,

14 DAYS



Duration



Day 1 - Arrival At Bangalore Airport.



Upon arrival at Bangalore, you will be picked up from the
airport and checked in to the hotel. After resting for some time, we will meet
in the evening for a Briefing and then followed by a welcome dinner.



Day 2 - Bangalore - Somanathpur - Mysore - 185 Kms



This will be the first day of riding, we will pick our Royal
Enfield Motorcycles and kick start to explore Southern India.



After breakfast, we will ride towards Somanathapur. This
town is home to the famous Chennakeshava Temple built by the Hoysala commander,
Somnath, in 1268 A.D and is a live example of the heritage and culture of the Hoysala
Empire. This temple was



constructed using soapstone. A monumental beauty, the
architectural design of this temple attracts people from all over the world. By
evening we will reach Mysore and visit the world famous Mysore Palace.



Day 3-Mysore - Halebeedu - Chikmagalur - 180KMs



After breakfast we will start our journey towards Halebeedu.
It was the early capital of



the Hoysala kings. The city was so esteemed by the Hoysalas
that it is referred to as "earthly Vaikuntha" (Vishnu's abode). We
will then ride towards Chikmagalur which is famous for its serene environment,
lush green forests and tall mountains. It is also famous for the coffee and is
often referred to as the coffee land of Karnataka.



Day 4 - Explore Chikkamagalur - 120 Kms



After breakfast we will set to explore the Western ghats of
Karnataka, we will ditch the regular highways and take the road less travelled
through the coffee and spice plantations. We will ride through the serene
beauty of Bababudangiri Hills and ride Bababudangiri Peak, Mullayanagiri Peak,
and through the Coffee Plantations.



Day 5 - Chikkamagalur - Sakleshpur - Coorg - 200Kms



After breakfast we will set to explore the Western ghats of
Karnataka, we will ditch the regular highways and take the road less travelled
through the coffee and spice plantations. We will ride through the serene
beauty of Sakleshpur and Coorg. Coorg is a hill station in the Karnataka State
of India. It is very famous for its tea and coffee plantations in India. Along
with that, it is also known for its exotic greenery and natural beauty.



Day 6 - Coorg to Ooty - 250Kms



The ride from Coorg to Ooty is an exhilarating journey that
showcases the natural beauty and diverse landscapes of Southern India. This
route, which takes you through the Bandipur National Park and the thrilling
Kalhatty Ghats, is a motorcyclist’s dream, combining scenic roads, wildlife
encounters, and challenging terrain. The highlight of the ride is the ascent through
the Kalhatty Ghats, a series of 36 steep and sharp hairpin bends leading up to
Ooty. Known for its challenging terrain, this section demands skill and focus
from riders, as the curves are tight, and the gradients are steep.



Day 7 - Rest day in Ooty



After the thrilling ride through the winding roads and
hairpin bends of the Kalhatty Ghats, a rest day in Ooty offers the perfect
opportunity to relax and rejuvenate. Known as the "Queen of the Hills,"
Ooty is a serene hill station in the Nilgiri Hills, offering a blend of natural
beauty, colonial charm, and tranquil vibes.



A rest day in Ooty is not just about physical recovery; it’s
a chance to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Nilgiris, savor
local flavors, and connect with the slower pace of life. By the end of the day,
you’ll feel refreshed and ready to continue your motorcycle adventure through Southern
India.



Day 8 -Ooty to Athirapally - 250Kms



The journey from Ooty to Athirapally is a thrilling and
picturesque ride that takes you through an array of breathtaking landscapes,
from misty hills and winding ghats to lush forests and cascading waterfalls.
This route, known for its challenging roads and natural beauty, is an adventure
motorcyclist’s dream. Athirapally offers a serene retreat at the end of a
challenging ride. Take time to relax by the waterfalls, explore nearby nature
trails, and enjoy the local Kerala cuisine before preparing for the next leg of
your adventure. This route from Ooty to Athirapally is not just a ride but a
journey through some of South India’s most stunning and diverse landscapes,
promising memories to last a lifetime.



Day 9 - Athirapally to Munnar - 250 Kms



The journey from Athirapally to Munnar is a mesmerizing ride
through the Western Ghats, blending tropical forests, tea plantations, wildlife
sanctuaries, and misty hills. This route offers a thrilling mix of challenging
terrains and unparalleled natural beauty, making it a favourite for adventure
seekers and nature lovers alike.Munnar welcomes you with its cool weather, verdant
hills, and charming hospitality. Relax with a cup of locally grown tea, explore
the tea museums, or take a stroll through the sprawling plantations. Munnar’s
serene beauty is the perfect conclusion to a day filled with adventure and discovery.
This ride, connecting Athirapally, Valparai, Annamalai, and Munnar, offers a
perfect mix of thrilling roads and unforgettable scenery, making it a highlight
of any motorcycle adventure in Southern India.



Day 10 - Explore Munnar - 50Kms



Today will be relaxed ride, we will be exploring Munnar tea
gardens, take a walk in the spice plantations, visit tea museum and rest of the
day just relax at the property.



Day 11 - Munnar to Periyar Tiger Reserve - 110Kms



After exploring Munnar, we will start our journey further
down south towards Thekkady. Thekkady is located 4 km away from Kumily, a
plantation town in Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The sanctuary is famous for its
dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands.
It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques
and Nilgiri langurs.



Day 12 - Thekkady to Alleppey - 140 Kms



Today we will ride towards Alleppey, affectionately
nicknamed the 'Venice of the East' by travellers from across the world. Alappuzha
is a district of immense natural beauty. Embraced by the Arabian Sea in the west
and a network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, this backwater
country is home to vibrant animal and avian life. By virtue of its proximity to
the sea, the town has always carved out an exclusive place for itself in the maritime
history of Kerala. Renowned for its boat races, beaches, marine products and
coir industry, the singularity of this land is the region called Kuttanad. A land
of lush paddy fields referred to as the 'Rice Bowl of Kerala', it is one of the
few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. This once
prosperous trading and fishing centre is nowadays a world renowned backwater
tourist destination.



Day 13- Alleppey to Kochi - 60Kms



The last of the Southern India Motorcycle Tour, after
exploring the back waters of Alleppey, we will ride to the Kochi Town. A vibrant
potpourri of art, culture, food, carnivals and festivals, Kochi, sprawled along
a gorgeous estuary in Kerala, is a fascinating tourist destination. Skirted by
the emerald-blue Arabian Sea that laps at its golden sun-kissed beaches, the
city remains suspended in time, with its colonial charm merging seamlessly with
its artistic aesthetic. Established around Fort Kochi, which is the cultural
nerve of the city, Kochi remains in a festive mood throughout the year



Day 14- Departure from Kochi



Today we will bid goodbye to Kochi and end our South India
Motorcycle tour on Royal Enfield. After Breakfast, we will drop you to the
airport with the hope of meeting again soon on the "Roads Less Travelled".
